TALLEY & SMITH ARCHITECTURE is introducing an innovative new service. We are offering a programming consultant with extensive ministerial expereince as part of our design team.  During the early programming and design phases of a project, the building committee is carefully considering how a new buildng will enhance their programs and ministries.  Part of that process usually involves visiting other churches and talking to their staff. This staff input is usually very valuable, but is always limited to the staff's experience with the building being visited. As architects specializing in church buildings, we have extenxive experience and knowledge of church design and buildings, but our ministerial experience is limited to our service at our own churches.

To better serve our clients, we have added Dr. Tracy Jessup to our programming and design team.  His role as an Assistant Dean at Gardner-Webb University, as the Minister to the University, and his experience as an interim pastor at numerous churches makes him uniquely qualified on how church buildings can enhance or detract from church programs, services, and ministries.

Tracy reviews the early programming and design decisions and makes suggestions for the building committee’s consideration.  He is also available to meet with the building committee to discuss their ministry goals and to assist with shaping the building to meet those goals. This unique service is another reason TALLEY & SMITH ARCHITECTURE is the best choice for your church project!
